Haneul was born in Suwon, South Korea and is the only member to have lived in Korea her whole life.

She had many musical influences growing up, one of them being her own mother who owned a music academy and frequently played classical music. Her motivation to become an idol came from seeing SISTAR perform in a soccer stadium and wanting to also be up on a stage on day to perform. She has been dancing since a young age and started vocal lessons around 2021.

S2 ENT is the only company Haneul has ever been apart of. She has never been a HYBE Trainee.

Prior to debut, Haneul was part of an acting academy and has been seen in multiple dramas playing background characters. She has also been seen in commercials for products.

During the pre debut preparations, Haneul was upset and concerned over the idea that she wouldn't be able to fit in with the other members due to not having an extensive background like they did. However, Julie went on to reassure her saying she was the perfect fit for the team and what held KIOF together as a whole.

She primarily plays guitar, but has played piano and ukulele when she was younger.

She is currently learning English & Japanese. (She likes anime)

She is the tallest member out of all of them.

She has composing and song writing credits on 'Bye My Neverland'

Her nickname 'Bobsky' comes from the korean word for rice being 'bap' and her name in korean meaning 'sky', creating 'Bobsky.' Occasionally they will straight up call her 'Bob.'

She likes "live band music", explaining why most of her covers are in that style as well as 'Back to Me' being her favourite song from 'Lose Yourself'

Belle was born in Seattle in the US, growing up there until she was 8 years old where she moved to South Korea. From her time growing up in the US she is fluent in English and Korean.

Belle was exposed to music from an extremely young age due to her father being Shim Sin, a famous Korean singer in the 90s. Her first exposure to writing and composing was through her cousin known as 'Cherry Coke' who is a singer. She introduced Belle to producing and discovered Belle's singing voice, from this Belle went on to make connections to producers such as MILLIC and by the time she was 18 she already had multiple composing, writing and background vocal credits on multiple songs such as 'Unforgiven' (LE SSERAFIM), 'Find You' (PURPLE KISS), 'Child' (MARK OF NCT), 'Run' (R U NEXT THEME, SUZY) and 'Softly' 'Charging' (MIYEON).

Throughout all of this, Belle managed to also write some of her own songs in her free time, one of her most known pre-debut songs being 'Venus' which went viral during debut era.

Belle had zero intentions of becoming an idol, however after being pushed by Haein to learn dancing as well as seeing the other members motivated her to keep going to try and become an idol.

She was previously under SM as a songwriter and AURA ENT as a composer which later was acquired by S2. She has never been a trainee before.

Commonly referred to as 'KIOF's Princess' due to her personality

She describes Sabrina Carpenter as her musical inspiration

She first got into exploring R&B through Victoria Monet and was intrigued by her song 'Dive' with how is was produced musically. It inspired her to get more into writing and producing.

When Ariana Grande was teasing her album 'Eternal Sunshine', people began to say Belle's song 'Venus' was a leak from the album due to their voices sounding similar and people genuinely believed it.

She is a big fan of the color pink and EXO

She has previously appeared on 'The Masked Singer'

Belle currently has 7 song writing credits on the entire KISS OF LIFE Discography. (Countdown, Shh, My 808, Says it, Te Quiero, Maestro of My Heart & Get Loud) She also has producer credits on every single KISS OF LIFE album.

She has previously played piano and violin

Natty was born in Bangkok, Thailand and is the only entirely non Korean member. After starting dancing at the age of 10, a year later she went to Korea to start her life as a trainee, thinking it was just a thing for people who like to sing and dance. Something she was fond of.

At the age of just 11 she was a trainee under SM ENT, training alongside Red Velvet. Two years later when she was 13 she would go on to appear on the JYP survival show 'SIXTEEN' and did not make the final line up to join the group 'TWICE' due to being too young. Prior to joining 'SIXTEEN' she was also a trainee under JYP.

Natty attended her second survival show 'Idol School' in 2017 when she was 15. Through 'Idol School' she met Lee Haein, a fellow trainee on the show. Simialry to 'SIXTEEN' she did not end up making the final lineup that would go on to form 'fromis_9'

Unfortunately for young Natty, she found herself losing a lot of her confidence due to reading many negative comments online about her appearance. Natty recalled a story once where her she asked her manager what a certain word meant in Korean as she wasn't sure what it meant, only for her manager to have to explain to her it was a comment insulting her face.

Between after 'Idol School' had aired and her solo debut in 2020, it was rumoured that she joined PLEDIS/STONE ENT to debut in a new girl group alongside Haein and other rumoured trainees like Huh Yunjin from LE SSERAFIM. However this girl group never ended up happening.

In 2020, Natty made her solo debut under SWING ENT with her song 'Nineteen' and later went on to make her only comeback with 'Teddy Bear.' Her time as a soloist was short lived due to her not doing well, disappearing for almost two years and leaving her fans confused and concerned to where she was.

In July of 2022, it was revealed that Natty had signed a contract under S2 entertainment, leaving SWING ENT and ending her solo activities. Later that year in December 2022, Natty was seen on a German documentary about K-POP trainees, talking about trainee life. In this video you can also spot Belle, Haneul and Julie as well as another unidentified trainee.

Finally, after spending quite literally half of her life being a trainee, Natty made her debut with KISS OF LIFE on July 5th, 2023.

She is the only introvert in the group

Her story talking about a guy confessing to her with a letter saying 'My very own blackswan, the moment i saw you i fell for you' went viral on k-twt due to the stupidity of the quote to the point it started to reach other idols and became a general meme. It has also inspired a photocard pob set for their upcoming CB 'Lose Yourself'

Similarly to Belle, is also referred to as 'KIOF's Thai Princess'

She can play guitar

She is the only one with a personal Instagram account due to her soloist activities before.

Julie was born in Hawaii, USA, growing up there until she moved to Korea at 13. Like Belle, she is fluent in both English and Korean.

Growing up she listened to a lot of hip-hop and rap despite doing ballet, which she found funny.

When she moved to Korea, she found herself stopping ballet but got recommended to try new styles of dance like hip-pop. She attended a class and found herself enjoying the different style of dance. After that first class had finished she was approached by someone looking to take her in to be a trainee due to seeing her potential.

She went on to be a trainee under THE BLACK LABEL, due to being a native English speaker they thought it would be good if she was a rapper and she agreed. She has said how she has listened to almost all kinds of rap and has multiple influences like Doja Cat.

During her time at THE BLACK LABEL, she managed to achieve first in every single monthly evaluation, only failing to reach first once.

After leaving THE BLACK LABEL she ended up at SWING ENT, where she was trainees with Natty.

Eventually she was contacted by Haein, asking her if she wanted to join her upcoming girl group as a rapper and later asked her to be the leader of the group.

She is the eldest of the group

According Belle, she has a very close resemblance to baby yoda.

She is the the shortest of the group, actually having a height gap unlike the others.

She has writing credits on 'Bye My Neverland', 'Shh', 'Nobody Knows' & 'Bad News (ENG Ver)'. Her producing credits are on 'Shh' & 'Bye My Neverland'.

Her and Natty have taken part in creating choreo for their songs.

Her mother is a fashion designer and her brother is an author
